Design is the key step to create a new LED product

In the LED field, more than elsewhere, design and research have a major role.

Indeed one of the difficulties in a LED product is that of heat dissipation. Even if the LED in itself heats up slightly, its small size causes heat concentration and prevents heat dissipation.

Similarly, if it is easy to make a LED product with an elevated theoretical light output, the real brightness is rarely taken into consideration.

This depends on various parameters including for example the design of lens. This step is crucial and extremely complex. It is at this stage that ACI’s expertise steps in.
